Tottenham Hotspur fans have aired their dismay at Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad.

The Three Lions head to the Nations League finals next month, where they will face the Netherlands in the semi-finals. The game comes on June 6th, five days after the Champions League final.

Spurs, of course, play Liverpool in Madrid on June 1st as they look to be crowned champions of Europe.

Nevertheless, Southgate has picked six Spurs players ahead of the game; Danny Rose, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Kieran Trippier, Harry Kane and Harry Winks could all play some part in the fixture.

The news is all the more surprising given that both Kane and Winks are currently injured. Each are doubts for the final in Spain.

If Kane can return, however, he is also likely to play for the Three Lions, given his status as the nation’s captain.
