McKennie is now into the final year of his contract with the Bianconeri, and they are eager to agree a sale. A deal appeared to have been done when acquiring Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa, but former Leeds loanee McKennie snubbed the opportunity to return to England in a part-exchange agreement.
