Laurent Blanc has emerged as a possible candidate for the vacant Tottenham managerial position, and contact has been made between the club and coach according to Sky Sports.
The north London club are looking for a new man to lead them in the 2012-13 season after Harry Redknapp was dismissed recently.
Blanc is currently managing France at Euro 2012, and official talks will be held at the culmination of the tournament.
Other candidates mentioned are former Chelsea boss Andre Villas Boas, Wigan’s Roberto Martinez, Ralf Rangnick and David Moyes.
Blanc has had an impressive coaching career to date, winning a league and cup double with Bordeaux back in 2009, and he has also led Les Bleus to a 23 match unbeaten run, turning the nation’s performances around.
Blanc’s contract with his homeland expires at the end of Euro 2012, and as such there has been continued question marks over the trainer’s future.
