The hosts have lost just one of their 13 meetings with Almeria in La Liga (W10 D2), 0-2 in February 2008, and have won the last six – their longest winning streak against them in the competition.
Real Madrid have scored at least two goals in each of their last four home games and would look to bring their goal-scoring boots on Saturday as well.
All eyes will be on Karim Benzema who loves playing against Almeria and has been involved in 10 goals in eight games against them in the competition.
Meanwhile, Almeria head into this fixture after beating Getafe in their last match. They are just two points above the relegation zone and manager Rubi would want his players to give their all against Los Blancos who have looked shaky at times in the league.
