He told Los Edul: "We're in the Europa League semi-finals, and I want to finish the season on a high note. After that, we'll see. My focus is always on growing and looking for new places to continue developing."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Romero joined Tottenham for a fee in the region of £42 million ($56m) in 2021 from Atalanta and since then he has, arguably, developed a reputation for being one of the Premier League's best centre-backs. That reputation may have taken a hit in recent times, though, and now it seems the Argentine international – who has also struggled with injuries – is thinking about making a Spurs exit.
