Fabio Carvalho has completed a move from Liverpool to Fulham in a deal worth up to £27.5 million.

Carvalho joined Liverpool in the summer of 2022 after having impressed with Fulham after having come up through their ranks. However, after an unimpressive first season at Anfield, Jurgen Klopp decided to offload the attacking midfielder who went out on two short loan spells with RB Leipzig and Hull City. While the 21-year-old did shine on loan at Hull, Liverpool have decided to allow him to leave the club this summer.

As per The Times' Paul Joyce, Liverpool have sold Carvalho for a fee of £27.5 million ($35m) including add-ons. The Merseyside club will also hold a reported 17.5% sell-on clause in case of a future sale.

Fulham will also benefit financially from the sale of Carvalho this summer due to the sell-on clause that they had added during Carvalho's sale to Liverpool in 2022.
As per the report, Fulham had included a 20% sell-on clause and are now in line to gain 20% of any profit that Liverpool gain from the sale.

The Portuguese midfielder did play throughout the preseason for Arne Slot's side but will now look forward to making his debut with Fulham. The Cottagers kick off the new season on August 16 against Manchester United
