According to a report from , Barcelona fear missing out on top transfer target Diaz as they feel that an operation for the Liverpool winger might not be financially possible, especially with recent interest from Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli.

Barcelona's pursuit of Diaz has slowed due to intense competition and financial issues, including salary cap restrictions. Liverpool are asking for at least €75 million (£64m/$82m), which is considered too high a figure by the Catalans. For a move to Barcelona to remain possible, Diaz would need to push for a lower fee by rejecting offers from the Middle East.
