Dortmund sensation Gittens is all set to be sold in the summer as the Bundesliga side have accepted they may have to significantly drop their asking price for the English winger, according to . Earlier it was reported that BVB are set to demand a fee of around €100 million (£83m/$103m), but they are now considering reducing the figure between €60m (£50m/$63m) and €70m (£58m/$73m).

The report also adds that Dortmund might be forced to let go of Gittens in the summer due to financial constraints if they do not secure European football for next season. Niko Kovac's side have struggled for form in the 2024-25 campaign and are currently 10th in the Bundesliga after 24 matches.
