Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche has insisted the German side don't need to sell Hugo Ekitike amid Premier League interest.

Frankfurt reportedly value the striker at €100 million (£85m), despite speculation that Chelsea are prepared to offer €80m (£68m). Now, board member Krosche has declared that if the "price isn't right", the Frenchman will stay put for next season.

He told Wiesbadener Kurier: “If the price isn’t right, then he’ll simply stay with us. We don’t have to sell Hugo.”

Ekitike has been linked with Chelsea,Arsenal and Liverpool off the back of scoring 22 goals and adding 12 assists in 48 appearances in all competitions for the German side this season. After losing forward Omar Marmoush to Manchester City in January, the German team are demanding huge fees for their biggest assets, which may fend off Premier League interest.
