A 31-year-old businessman from Rio Grande do Sul has registered a will at a notary’s office that states his worldly possessions should be inherited by Brazil international Neymar – who returned to his homeland in January when retracing steps to Santos.

According to the news portal, the legal document in question was formalised on June 12, 2023. Neymar is in line to inherit numerous assets – including properties, investments and shares in major companies.

The agent who drew up the will, who has remained anonymous, said of his decision to pass worldly wares on to the sporting superstar: “I like Neymar, I identify with him a lot. He's not self-serving, something rare these days.”

The man in question, who says that he faces health problems, also highlighted the relationship that Neymar enjoys with his family. He went on to say: “His connection with his father reminds me a lot of the one I had with mine, who has passed away.”
